The name translates to "blood of the stones," a nod to the stony vineyards of Vacqueyras, and this is the estate's benchmark red, farmed organically with a biodynamic approach. A Grenache-led blend with Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault. Decanter described the 2024 as light and supple, smooth and juicy, with fresh acidity and a pure, natural balance, soft refined tannins, and good length, a Vacqueyras that's refreshing even with a slight chill. Not a powerhouse, which is the point: it's fruit-forward, spicy, and easy to drink now, and it pairs well with roast chicken, grilled sausages, or a weeknight stew. A great-value way into one of the Southern Rhône's most reliable villages.
