2025 Domaine des Bernardins - Muscat Beaumes de Venise HALF BOTTLE (375ml)

Domaine des Bernardins is widely regarded as one of the top producers of Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, working 17 hectares of 50-year-old vines on the south-east side of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Made from Muscat à Petits Grains, including a portion of red Muscat, and fortified to stop fermentation with 110 g/L of residual sugar left in. The 2025 harvest came 15 days earlier than 2024 after two summer heat waves, but careful vineyard work preserved the acidity. Decanter found it pale peach in color, very silky and full-bodied, rich and luxurious, with bright acidity running through orange and peach flavors and a long, subtly mineral finish. Expect ripe yellow peach, bergamot, key lime, and acacia honey. Sweet, but never heavy, and a natural with apricot tart, blue cheese, or foie gras, or chilled on its own as dessert.
