Argyle 2021 Willamette Valley Brut Rosé

Argyle Winery's 2021 Willamette Valley Brut Rosé (750ml) is a traditional-method sparkling wine from Oregon's Willamette Valley. Founded in 1987 in Dundee, Argyle is a benchmark producer of traditional-method sparkling wine in the Pacific Northwest, with the estate practicing sustainable, low-intervention farming. This Brut Rosé blends Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, made in the traditional method with extended time en tirage prior to disgorgement to add texture and complexity to the base wine.

The 2021 growing season opened with a classic, dry spring and a June bloom that trimmed yields but allowed the fruit that remained to ripen with real concentration. A summer heat dome tested the valley in late June, though Argyle's sites came through unscathed, and a warm, sunny stretch through harvest, which wrapped in early October, gave the fruit plenty of time to develop.
