2019 Vinsacro - Rioja Dioro
2019 Rioja Dioro — Bodegas Escudero (formerly Valsacro)
From the hillside vineyards of Monte Yerga, this Vidau-driven Rioja is a patient, vineyard-first expression crafted from co-planted varieties aged 70+ years. Tempranillo leads the blend with Garnacha, Graciano, Monastrell, and Bobal harmonizing to create a distinctive Rioja profile that rewards time and thoughtful tasting.
Aging 17–18 months in French and Eastern European oak, followed by five years of cellaring before release, this wine balances structure, elegance, and depth without heaviness.

Winemaking & terroir
Vidau-driven field blend drawn from co-planted varieties on Monte Yerga’s southern slopes, from vines aged 70+ years. The bouquet and palate reflect a careful marriage of Tempranillo with Garnacha, Graciano, Monastrell, and Bobal. Aged 17–18 months in a combination of French and Eastern European oak, then cellared for five years before release to ensure balance and harmony. The result is depth, elegance, and a distinctly regional character with notable QPR.
