Produced from selected vineyard blocks across the Langhe hills, the must undergoes native fermentation and matures in large neutral Slavonian oak casks for roughly four years. This extended maturation allows the wine’s primary fruit to integrate with secondary earthy complexities while retaining the vintage’s favorable temperature balance between ripeness and acidity.

Tasting Notes

The nose delivers classic Nebbiolo expressions of dried strawberry, leather, and cedar, layered with floral notes of rosemary and violets. On the palate, firm yet refined tannins support a medium-bodied frame marked by dried cherry, tobacco, wet stone, and a subtle bitter-almond hint. The finish is dry, lengthy, and chalky, echoing the calcareous marl subsoil found throughout much of the Barolo cru system.
