  • Area of origin: hills of Castagnito and Magliano Alfieri, with a small extension toward Barbaresco
  • Exposure: east to west in Castagnito and Magliano Alfieri, with eastern exposure toward Barbaresco
  • Soil: marly and limestone mixed with sand
  • Grape variety: Nebbiolo with a minimum share of Cabernet Franc
  • Year of planting: vines planted between 1967 and 2002
  • Maturation: a few months in steel tanks
  • Format: 750ml

  • Grilled vegetables and mild cheeses
89 Points
"Sourced from Roero vineyards purchased a decade ago, the 2024 Langhe Nebbiolo Rosso di Rocca has a small addition of Cabernet Franc in the blend and pours a brilliant ruby red color. Aged entirely in stainless steel, on the nose it offers peppery spice, sweet herbs, and a subtle graphite-like edge that frames its charming and pure, red-fruited tone. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied yet transparent, packing surprising aromatic intensity alongside cherry fruit, crystalline salinity, and floral lift. About 10,900 bottles were produced. Drink 2026-2030."
