2025 Vajra, G.D. - Langhe Rosso (750ml)

Founder Isidoro Vaira conceived this wine as a "dream team" of Piedmont's classic varieties, a blend of 40% Barbera, 25% Dolcetto, 25% Nebbiolo, and 10% Freisa (with occasional small amounts of Albarossa and Pinot Noir), each fermented separately to preserve its individual character before blending. Aged 18 to 24 months across stainless steel and French oak barrels of varying age. Expect a vivid red color with violet hues, and a harmonious profile combining Barbera's bright acidity, Dolcetto's freshness, Nebbiolo's structure, and Freisa's spice. A versatile, food-friendly red from one of Barolo's most respected family estates, equally suited to roasted poultry, hearty stews, or classic tajarin with ragù.
