"The 2022 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru is a blend of two parcels, two-thirds

in Les Beaumonts and one-third from Echézeaux Loachausses. The

rened nose has pure morello cherry, wild strawberry and crushed

stone scents, perhaps a little reserved at the moment. The palate is

medium-bodied with vivid red cherries and crushed strawberry on the

entry, sorbet-fresh with an animated, quite tensile nish that becomes

more chalky in texture in the glass. Excellent.
