Grown at Roserock, the Drouhin family's estate vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA of Oregon's Willamette Valley, this Pinot Noir comes from volcanic soils and a cooler, wind-swept site shaped by the Van Duzer corridor. The Drouhin family, whose winemaking roots trace to Burgundy's Maison Joseph Drouhin, founded in 1880, purchased the 122-acre Roserock property in 2013 to expand their Oregon holdings beyond the original Dundee Hills estate. Véronique Boss-Drouhin, who oversees winemaking in both Burgundy and Oregon, blends fruit handpicked and fermented separately across the vineyard's 35 individual blocks.

The result is a medium-bodied red with a clear ruby color and a fragrant nose of rose, violet, and red cherry, layered with hints of cranberry and forest floor. On the palate, expect silky texture and well-integrated acidity, with flavors of red cherry, strawberry, and light baking spice rounded out by subtle notes of tobacco and graphite. Fine, polished tannins carry through to a long, dry finish. Aged in French oak with only a modest portion new, this Pinot Noir favors finesse over power, true to the Drouhin house style, and pairs beautifully with roasted poultry or mushroom dishes.

94 Points
"Graceful yet dynamic, with multilayered raspberry and blueberry flavors framed by fresh violet, orange peel and cinnamon as this builds richness and tension toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2035. 22,500 cases made."
