2025 Apollo's Praise - Cabernet Franc Rose Seneca Lake Nutt Road Vineyard (750ml)

This is not your dainty, pale Provençal rosé — this is Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc doing what it does best. Sourced from Nutt Road Vineyard on Seneca Lake, farmed by Peter Martini of Anthony Road Wine Company on a gentle east-facing slope — cold soaked before native yeast fermentation in stainless steel, then rested on lees until spring bottling. Equal parts generous and serious: aromas of pomegranate, raspberry, and tomato jump immediately, leading to a densely structured midpalate — dare we say slightly tannic? — enrobed with generous berry and grapefruit flavors. A burst of apricot leads to a long, mineral, and pleasantly bitter finish. A wine that keeps drawing you back for more. Brilliant with food or on its own. Screwcap. 13% ABV
