SolSummit was founded in July 2022 by Emily Dabish Yahkind, an Ann Arbor entrepreneur who set out to build a woman owned wine brand rooted in sustainability and easy drinking convenience. The fruit is grown on a fourth generation family vineyard in Clarksburg, California, a delta region cradled between the Mayacamas Mountains and the Sierra Nevada foothills, and the winery emphasizes certified sustainable farming alongside a low intervention, vegan friendly approach to production packaged in a portable can format.

This rose is built from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, the classic Rhone trio more commonly associated with bold reds, here handled to produce a lighter, brighter style suited to warm weather drinking. The blend takes on a warm pink hue and is crafted with the kind of Spanish influenced character that appeals to red wine drinkers looking for a rose with a bit more grip and spice than the typical delicate style.

On the palate this wine opens with a burst of grapefruit before moving into herbaceous green peppercorn, ripe watermelon, and strawberry, giving it a zesty, food friendly profile with real personality.
