Aguardiente Antioqueño is produced by the Fábrica de Licores de Antioquia in the Antioquia region of Colombia and stands as one of the country's most iconic spirits, deeply woven into everyday Colombian social life and celebrations. It is the best selling aguardiente both within Colombia and worldwide, a reflection of its long standing role as the go to spirit for toasts, festivals, and gatherings across generations.

This sugar free, or sin azúcar, expression is built from extra fine neutral alcohol, natural anise essences, and water that has been purified through carbon filtration. Unlike the brand's classic sweetened bottling, this version leaves out added sugar entirely, resulting in a drier, more pronounced anise character while retaining the light green hue and clear bottling associated with the Antioqueño line. It is typically bottled at 24% ABV.

The aroma is dominated by bright anise from the very first sniff, carrying through to a crisp, concise finish. On the palate, the spirit is soft and clean with a light, almost creamy mouthfeel, showing gentle spice alongside its signature licorice like sweetness. It is traditionally served very cold and neat, straight from the freezer in small shot glasses, though it can also be stretched with water or used as the base for aniseed forward cocktails.
