Cachacier, founded by Peter Banks as the first dedicated cachaça collecting experience in the United States, partners with individual Brazilian distilleries to showcase paired expressions that highlight the country's native spirit. This blend comes from the Princesa Isabel Distillery, founded in 2016 by Adão Cellia and Maria Isabel de Moraes near the mouth of the Sweet River in Linhares, Espírito Santo, a producer known for hand-cut cane, copper pot distillation, and a strong focus on sustainable farming.

This expression was created specifically for Cachacier, blending cachaça aged two years across four distinct native woods: jequitibá, amburana, jaqueira, and bálsamo. Each wood contributes its own character to the final blend. Jequitibá adds minimal color while softening the spirit's edges, amburana lends warm baking spice, jaqueira brings tropical fruit tones, and bálsamo contributes a subtle herbal backbone, together producing a more layered, complex profile than a single-wood aging would allow.

The resulting cachaça opens with a friendly, fruit-forward nose carrying ripe tropical notes and a hint of natural sweetness. On the palate, soft baking spice layers over bright, fresh cane, finishing smooth and well balanced rather than heavy. It drinks well neat or on the rocks, and holds its own in a caipirinha or other tall mixed drinks.
