This is silky and pliant in feel, with ripe cherries and inner earth tones giving way to a salty collection of minerals and grippy tannins toward the close. The palate aches with youthful tension, as this slowly tapers off to nuances of tobacco and balsamic spice. A few years of cellaring will be required to fully enjoy the 2013."
