St. Supéry Estate sits at the heart of Napa Valley's Rutherford growing region, where the winery blends French château tradition with the character of local terroir. Known widely for its Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignons, St. Supéry has also built a devoted following for its Sauvignon Blanc, sourced entirely from its own certified Napa Green estate vineyards. That focus on sustainability runs from soil to bottle, reflecting the winery's broader commitment to responsible, site-driven winemaking.

This Sauvignon Blanc draws on two estate sources: Dollarhide Ranch, a large mountain property in the northeastern hills above St. Helena, and the Rutherford Estate vineyard on the valley floor. The contrast between these mountain and valley sites adds complexity to the finished wine. Grapes were picked during the cool morning hours to preserve natural acidity, then pressed directly to tank and fermented entirely in stainless steel at low temperatures, a method chosen to keep the fruit's freshness front and center.

The 2023 vintage offers ripe green lime and pink grapefruit, layered with lemon crème and a whisper of anise. Gooseberry, fennel pollen, and a touch of caper add a saline edge, all held together by bright, energetic acidity. It pairs beautifully with ceviche, grilled chicken skewers, or fresh burrata.

91 Points
"Vibrant and expressive, showing notes of ruby grapefruit, passion fruit, Key lime and lemon balm, with clementine accents. A hint of Himalayan sea salt lingers on the refreshing finish. Drink now. 36,000 cases made"
