Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc done with real finesse.

Alpine Rift sources low-yielding fruit from three exceptional vineyards across Marlborough's Southern Valleys, Central Wairau Plains, and Awatere Valley — a combination of heavier loess clay and free-draining alluvial soils that allow the vines to ripen small, intensely flavored bunches. Fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and old French oak puncheons using both cultured and indigenous wild yeasts, and left on lees until blending.

Bright and food-friendly, bursting with white peach, honeysuckle, lime, and bell pepper — slippery textured and fresh with a long citrusy finish.  Classic Marlborough aromatics with a textural richness most Sauvignon Blancs at this price can't touch.

93 Points
"Seven percent of the 2024 Alpine Rift Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in oak, and the wine is textural and very fine. It represents a refined and restrained expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, yet it doesn’t lose the juicy, satisfying intensity of Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, ditto the chalky texture. It's pure. This is really good. I like the crystalline polish of it."
