Duckhorn Vineyards was founded in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in St. Helena, where the winery first built its reputation on Merlot from the celebrated Three Palms Vineyard before expanding into other varietals. The estate added Sauvignon Blanc to its lineup in 1982, and the wine has since become one of the benchmarks for the variety in Napa Valley. Now part of a larger portfolio of California and Washington State labels, Duckhorn continues to draw on the same estate vineyards and grower relationships that shaped its earliest wines.

This bottling is harvested from Duckhorn's Napa Valley estates and select partner vineyards, then blended with a portion of Sémillon to add richness and depth. The 2024 growing season brought a dry winter and warm spring that delayed budbreak, and the resulting low yields concentrated flavor in the fruit. Harvest began in early August with the Sémillon component, and grapes were picked during moderate temperatures that allowed extra hang time. Fermentation and aging take place across both stainless steel and French oak.

The wine shows lush aromas of lemon verbena, candied pineapple, lime, and summer melon, carried on a silky, mouth-filling texture. Bright acidity keeps the citrus and tropical fruit flavors balanced through a long, focused finish. It pairs well with grilled prawns, a citrus-dressed summer salad, or fresh mozzarella.

91 Points
"Aromas of lemon zest, white peaches, grapefruit, lemongrass and wet stones. The midweight palate shows bright acidity and a smooth, textural mouthfeel, giving freshness and balance to the finish. Drink now. Screw cap"
