2025 Giuseppe Nada - Langhe Bianco (750ml)
Giuseppe Nada's roots in Treiso trace back to 1900, when ancestor Antonio Nada, originally from Trezzo Tinella, settled in the Casot area at the heart of the Barbaresco zone. The family began estate bottling in 1964, and the winery has passed through several generations since, each adding its own refinements while holding onto traditional methods. Today the estate is run by Enrico Nada alongside his sister and nephew, farming just over fifteen steep acres of organically certified vines on some of Treiso's highest ground.
Armonia blends Sauvignon Blanc and Arneis in roughly equal parts, sourced from vineyards around Treiso and the neighboring Roero area. After a brief cold skin maceration, the must is decanted and fermented at cool temperatures to preserve the grapes' natural aromatics, entirely in stainless steel and without malolactic fermentation. The wine then rests on its lees for about six months before bottling, building texture without picking up any oak influence.
In the glass it shows pale straw yellow with golden highlights, opening with floral aromas layered over notes of yeast and fresh bread crust. Sauvignon Blanc lends bright, intense florals while Arneis contributes body and mineral depth. The palate is rich, savory, and fresh, finishing long. It pairs well with seafood antipasti, light pasta dishes, and soft cheeses.
