Kim Crawford Wines launched in 1996 in a small cottage on the outskirts of Auckland, New Zealand. The brand grew with remarkable speed, beginning to export to the United States just two years later, and within four years moved into a state-of-the-art winery in Marlborough. Just six years after its founding, Kim Crawford Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc made Wine Spectator's Top 100 list. Its success stems from close attention to detail in vineyard and winery alike, with a focus on sustainable practices, individual vineyard block harvesting, and small-lot fermentation.

Marlborough sits on the northeastern corner of New Zealand's South Island, bordered by the Pacific Ocean and framed by mountains, a setting with the ideal climate and soil composition for growing Sauvignon Blanc.

The 2025 vintage presents a pale lemon hue with classic Marlborough aromas of lifted citrus, tropical fruit, and crushed herbs. On the palate it delivers a fresh, juicy experience with vibrant acidity and plenty of weight and length, showing ripe tropical fruit flavors of passion fruit, melon, and grapefruit. It's a crisp, vibrant wine with surprising density, where ripe notes of melon, passion fruit, gooseberry, and grapefruit explode on the tongue against an intense undercurrent of acidity.

This Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with oysters, lobster, asparagus, or summer salads.

90 Points
"Juicy and fruit-driven with notes of limes, bell peppers and herbs on the nose, following through to a medium body with fresh acidity. Laid-back and delicious. Sustainable. Drink now. Screw cap."
—James Suckling-James Suckling
