Glen Turner is a Scotch whisky brand created in 1981 by La Martiniquaise, a French spirits group founded in 1934 by Jean Caillard that built its early reputation on rum before expanding into a broader portfolio of spirits. The whisky is distilled and matured in the Scottish Highlands, with warehouses in Bathgate overseeing the aging process. Glen Turner has become one of the best-selling single malt brands in France, prized for an approachable, well-rounded style that has made it a familiar name well beyond Scotland's borders.

This Triple Cask expression is matured sequentially across three different types of oak. Time spent in ex-bourbon casks contributes early notes of vanilla, honey, and caramel, while a further period in sherry casks adds fruitiness, spice, and depth. A finishing stage in port casks rounds out the whisky with wine-like richness and dried fruit character. The result is bottled at 40% ABV, reflecting a deliberately smooth, easy-drinking style built through cask influence rather than extended age.

The nose is rich and inviting, layering vanilla, tropical fruit, and roasted nut aromas with a whisper of dried fruit. On the palate, the whisky is enveloping and balanced, carrying those same vanilla and tropical fruit tones alongside gentle spice. The finish is noble and lingering, closing with caramel sweetness and a soft trace of oak.
