The GlenDronach is a Highland distillery founded in 1826 by James Allardice on the Boynsmill Estate, in an area known as the Valley of the Brambles. It held the second distillery license ever granted in Scotland and is known for rich, sherry-matured single malts crafted under Master Blender Rachel Barrie. This bottling honors Allardice's reputation for hospitality at Boynsmill House and marks the distillery's 200th anniversary.

This limited-edition 14 year old single malt was matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks sourced from Spain, the signature casks of the distillery. A small selection of ex-claret red wine barrels was added to bring extra layers of fruit and spice to the robust Highland character. The whisky is bottled at 46.8% ABV and has a rich copper color.

The nose is fruity and nutty, with sweet Highland toffee. On the palate, plush ripe malt meets bramble, raisin, plum, and stone fruit, alongside creamy chocolate-caramel ganache and toasted hazelnut. Cocoa and warm oak spice carry through a long, mellow, velvety finish.
