Single Malts Of Scotland Glenlossie Distillery 13 yr Whisky 700ml

This bottling comes from Elixir Distillers, the independent bottler behind the Single Malts of Scotland range, run by brothers Sukhinder and Rajbir Singh, the same team that founded The Whisky Exchange in 1999. Since 2002, the Singhs have built a reputation for tracking down overlooked and hard-to-find casks across Scotland, releasing them through several tiers, including single casks, small-batch Reserve Casks, and the Director's Special series reserved for the rarest finds.

Glenlossie is a quiet Speyside distillery founded in 1876, producing a grassy, fruity, and notably oily spirit that blenders have long prized but that rarely reaches the market as a standalone single malt. This release draws on a small batch of five hogsheads distilled in 2010 and matured for thirteen years, giving Elixir Distillers a rare chance to showcase the distillery's character on its own terms.

The nose is dense with toffee and tarragon, joined by crème caramel, baked orange, and cinnamon. On the palate, milk chocolate and hazelnut bring creaminess, balanced by orange, cinnamon, and a background note of cassis. The finish lingers with red fruit, tarragon, and mint.
