Planted in the Randazzo area on the volcano’s northwest flank, these vines sit at elevations between 750 and 950 metres, rooted in lava-based soils of sand and volcanic rock that contribute a distinctive mineral nuance to the wine.
Terrazze dell'Etna, founded in 2008 by the Bevilacqua family, began with the careful restoration of ancient vineyards and stone terraces across Mount Etna. This Brut Blanc embodies their serious approach to sparkling wine, with a 2019 vintage that spent a minimum of 50 months aging on the lees before dégorgement—a timeline that competes with the best in Champagne for depth and complexity.
