Don Fulano Blanco Fuerte Tequila 750ml

Don Fulano is produced by the Fonseca family, fifth generation agave growers from the highlands of Jalisco who spent decades supplying agave to other producers before founding their own distillery, La Tequileña, under NOM 1146. The family's estate-grown blue agave, volcanic spring water, and proprietary yeast reflect a commitment to terroir driven, additive free production that has made Don Fulano a benchmark among agave purists.

Fuerte is the original overproof blanco in the lineup, built to showcase the highland agave's full character without dilution. The estate grown piñas are cooked in autoclaves for twenty eight to thirty two hours, then extracted using a self engineered screw press before natural fermentation. Distillation blends roughly eighty percent copper pot still output with a smaller portion from a copper column still, a technique rarely used for blanco tequila, and the spirit is bottled unfiltered at a full one hundred proof.

The nose opens with cooked agave, white flowers, and pear, giving way to a bold, herbal palate that borders on gin-like intensity, layered with orange blossom, black pepper, and earthy minerality. The finish runs long, minty, and clean, with the high proof amplifying every layer rather than masking it.
