Four Branches Founders Blend Bourbon comes from Four Branches Bourbon, a company founded by four military veterans, one each from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. The brand built its identity around honoring those who serve, trademarking the phrases "Serve Honorably. Drink Honorably." and "Sip to Remember," and has donated bottles and proceeds to support veterans and first responders. For their debut release, the founders worked with Hall of Fame master distiller Steve Nally and Bardstown Bourbon Company to bring their vision to life.

Founders Blend combines three separate sourced mashbills, one rye-forward and one wheated, drawn from barrels aged four to seven years at distilleries in Indiana and Kentucky. Nally blended these together with added wheat for balance, producing an unusual four-grain bourbon of roughly sixty-five percent corn, fifteen percent rye, ten percent malted barley, and ten percent wheat. The finished whiskey is bottled at 96 proof in Bardstown.

The nose offers vanilla, hay, and fresh peanut over a whisper of oak and pear. On the palate, hazelnut cream and maple meet burnt orange and cinnamon before white pepper and rye spice take hold. The finish settles into soft green pepper and dry oak.
