Jim Beam Whiskey 375ml

Jim Beam traces its roots to 1795, when Jacob Beam began selling whiskey in Kentucky under the name "Old Tub." The family distilling tradition passed down through generations, and by 1894 Colonel James "Jim" B. Beam, the brand's namesake, had taken over as a fifth-generation distiller. His descendants have remained closely tied to the company ever since, with seventh-generation family member Fred Noe currently serving as master distiller under parent company Beam Suntory.

Jim Beam White Label is made from a mash bill of 77 percent corn, 13 percent rye, and 10 percent malted barley, a higher rye content than many other bourbons on the market. The whiskey is distilled using the traditional sour mash process, then aged a minimum of four years in new, charred American white oak barrels before blending and bottling at 80 proof.

The nose offers gentle vanilla and cut hay alongside a touch of fresh corn and cereal sweetness. On the palate, toasty oak joins vanilla and light baking spice, with a hint of pepper, finishing on toasted oak and lingering sweetness.
