2025 Domaine Ott - Cotes de Provence Rose Chateau de Selle (750ml) [PRE ARRIVAL]

Founded 130 years ago by Marcel Ott, Domaines Ott has continually shaped the story of Provençal rosé through a close dialogue with its Mediterranean landscape, soils, and light. Château de Selle — the original estate, acquired first and the anchor of the portfolio — is the benchmark by which serious Provence rosé is measured. 

The estate sits on arid limestone hillsides in the Côtes de Provence appellation inland, where 40–50% of the soil is stone. Despite some fertile clay deposits, yields are deliberately low, and all fruit is hand-harvested, with strict sorting and an extremely delicate pressing to extract only the best of the pulp. All Domaines Ott wines are certified organic from the 2022 vintage. 

The Château de Selle is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, consistently the brightest and most mineral-driven of the three estate rosés. The 2025 continues in that vein: clean and elegant on entry, asserting its tension with subtle notes of peach and citrus zest, with a very long, slightly spicy finish. Expect the hallmark pale, luminous color, a nose of white peach, nectarine, and crushed limestone, and that signature saline lift that sets Château de Selle apart from softer, fruitier Provence rosés
