Alma del Jaguar Blanco Tequila 750ml

Made on a fifth-generation family estate in the highlands of Los Altos de Jalisco at 6,800 feet elevation, Alma del Jaguar is a collaboration between founder McCauley Williams, Master Distiller Sergio Cruz, and the Vivanco family. Agave piñas are cooked for 54 hours in brick ovens, open-air fermented using a blend of 80% wild yeast for bold complexity and 20% Champagne yeast for subtle sweetness, then double-distilled in copper pot stills and hand bottled. Additive-free — just agave, water, and yeast.
The Tasting Panel awarded it 97 points, describing salted lime and fresh agave on the nose with a luscious palate of melted butter, brown sugar, baked apple, and cinnamon, finishing with crushed stone and licorice. On the palate, citrus-forward and floral with cooked agave, pineapple, clove, honeydew, and hints of brine — crisp and peppery on the finish with sea salt and mineral.
