Código 1530 built its reputation on an ingenious idea: taking additive-free, 100% agave tequila and resting it in uncharred Napa Valley wine barrels to bridge two worlds of fine craft. Their signature expressions use Cabernet barrels — but Paul and Rodrigo went hunting for something rarer, and landed on this: a single barrel rested in uncharred French oak Sauvignon Blanc barrels from Napa Valley, selected exclusively for us.

The Sauvignon Blanc barrel rest runs 30 days in uncharred French oak, adding a layer of delicate wine complexity without masking the spirit's agave core. Peach blossom and zesty citrus aromas intertwine with the crisp freshness of green apple on the nose — light, floral, and immediately inviting. The palate delivers lush sun-ripened fruit with a smooth, buttery texture and hints of honeysuckle, leading to an elegant, mineral-driven finish with a whisper of peppermint.
