2025 Louis Jadot - Beaujolais Villages (750ml)
A classic from one of Burgundy’s most trusted names. Maison Louis Jadot has been based in Beaune since 1859, and its Beaujolais roots run deep, including its own estate in Moulin-à-Vent, Château des Jacques. This bottling comes from the Beaujolais-Villages zone in the north of the region, where Gamay grows on granite soils that give the wine bright acidity and a mineral edge.
Jadot uses semi-carbonic maceration and no oak, so the 2025 is all about pure, juicy fruit. Expect raspberry, cherry and ripe strawberry with a hint of violet, peppery spice and a touch of earth, then a smooth, light palate and a crisp, refreshing finish. A go-to weeknight red, and terrific with a slight chill. Pair with roast chicken, pork chops, charcuterie, burgers or Thanksgiving turkey.
