DeLille Cellars' inaugural wine and the foundation on which the winery built its reputation for Bordeaux-style blending in Washington State. The 2020 is a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot, sourced from top Red Mountain and Yakima Valley sites and aged nearly two years in all-new French oak. Only 7,272 bottles were produced. Expect a firm, fresh, and floral nose with elegant red berries and oak tones, moving into a full-bodied, tight, and focused palate with a clean frame of cherries and red plum, balanced, complex, and lively through a long, food-friendly finish. Built for extended cellaring, 12+ years will help tame the tannins and reveal even more complexity.
