2023 Cloisonne - Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast (750ml)

Cloisonné is a small-lot label from a Napa-based team with more than 30 years of experience making premium California wines. Like the enamel art it’s named for, it’s built in small, carefully assembled pieces: lots sourced only from recognized top growing areas, with each bottling showing off its site. This Pinot comes from the cool Sonoma Coast, where fog and Pacific breezes keep the fruit bright. The 2023 vintage gave a smaller crop with real concentration. It’s handled gently and aged 12 months in French oak. Expect deep garnet color, with cherry, earth, spice and floral aromas. The palate brings dark cherry, cola and baking spice, all well proportioned, with a long, lingering finish. A great value Pinot for salmon, roast chicken, mushroom risotto or rich pasta.
