2023 Casar de Burbia - Godello (750ml)

 An organic, single-varietal Godello from Casar de Burbia's old vines — over 30 years old, planted on rocky, slate soils at 600 meters in Valtuille de Arriba, along the Camino de Santiago. Hand-harvested and selected twice, cold-soaked, then fermented in stainless steel and aged eight months on the lees before bottling. Straw-colored with aromas of ripe stone fruit and white flowers, the palate is fresh, balanced, and flavorful, carrying real texture from the lees aging without losing its citrus-driven brightness. A clean, well-made expression of Bierzo's native white variety from an estate better known for its Mencía.
