From the cool Rosemary's Vineyard in the Arroyo Grande Valley, the 2022 Talley Chardonnay captures four generations of family farming and a steadfast commitment to sustainability.

Rosemary's Vineyard sits on the coolest site within Talley’s holdings, with Chardonnay vines planted in 1987 to complement the nearby Pinot Noir. The wine spends fourteen months aging sur lie in French oak, about a third of it new, a purposeful choice to build texture and depth while letting the site's natural intensity shine through.

The 2022 vintage offers citrus and stone fruit aromas layered with crushed stone minerality, honeyed white flowers, and blanched almond, with a whisper of spicy oak.

The palate is concentrated and bright, with integrated acidity carrying through a long finish that lingers with refined energy.

96 Points
"The 2022 Chardonnay Rosemary's Vineyard is another Arroyo Grande release that saw 14 months in 30% new French oak. It's a slightly more savory, masculine styled effort that has both citrus and stone fruits, lots of crushed stone minerality, honeyed white flowers, blanched almonds, and subtle spicy oak aromas and flavors. It has rock-solid concentration, bright yet integrated acidity, and a gorgeous finish. It's up with the finest Chardonnay in the vintage."
