Known affectionately as "Mt. Jeff," this is the flagship wine of Cristom Vineyards and a representation of their approach to winemaking from some of the finest vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills, with a focus on whole-cluster and native yeast fermentations. Cristom Vineyards Notably, the 2024 vintage marks the 30th Anniversary bottling of this wine, with fruit sourced from four of the five Cristom estate vineyards — only Marjorie was not included. Tasting Notes
The winemaker describes pronounced floral aromas of roses and lavender combined with blue fruit and plum, accented by subtle hints of earth. The palate is well-balanced with fresh acidity, showing tart cherry and raspberry flavors.
Wine Advocate (92 Points) notes slowly opening aromas of blackberry and black cherry, earth and violets, with a medium-bodied palate of concentrated floral fruit and well-integrated oak spice, framed by silky tannins, fresh acidity, and a nuanced finish.
