Belvedere Vodka 750ml
Belvedere Vodka has been produced since 1993 at the Polmos Żyrardów distillery, a facility on Poland's Mazovian Plain west of Warsaw that has operated since 1910. Now owned by Moët Hennessy, the luxury wines and spirits division of LVMH, Belvedere draws on Poland's centuries-old vodka tradition while operating under the country's strict Polska Wódka certification, which requires every stage of production, from grain to bottle, to take place on Polish soil using only local ingredients and no additives.
This vodka is made exclusively from Dankowskie Gold rye, a heritage Polish grain grown on farms near the distillery and prized for the flavor complexity it contributes compared to more neutral wheat or potato bases. The rye mash is first converted at an agricultural distillery, then passed through three additional distillations in column stills at the main facility, a quadruple process designed to purify the spirit without stripping away its grain character. After resting, the vodka is diluted with purified artesian well water and filtered through activated charcoal before bottling at 40% ABV.
The nose opens with a gentle wave of vanilla and soft rye spice. On the palate, the vodka is medium-bodied and velvety, balancing cereal sweetness with black pepper and a delicate almond note that reflects the rye's natural oils. The finish is warm and clean, with the grain character lingering gently through a medium-length close.
