Nikita Corn Vodka is produced in Ukraine by the National Vodka Company, part of the Bayadera Group, at a facility built in 2005 in the Cherkasy region, an area known for its abundant fresh and mineral water reserves. The brand's name and caramel-toned corn-shaped bottle nod to Nikita Khrushchev's mid-century campaign to expand corn cultivation across the Soviet Union, an effort that largely failed elsewhere but took firm root in Ukraine, where corn remains one of the country's most important agricultural exports. Bayadera Group has since grown into one of the largest alcohol holding companies in Eastern Europe, with partnerships extending to major international spirits producers.

Nikita starts with a proprietary corn mash, distilled multiple times through column stills, with sources citing anywhere from four to seven passes depending on the batch and market. This repeated distillation is intended to produce a cleaner, higher-purity spirit free of methyl alcohol. The corn base is blended with pure artesian water sourced locally, and every finished bottle is checked against a reference sample before release, part of the producer's stated pursuit of a consistent, refined product.

The nose is clean and soft, carrying sweet corn tones alongside light hints of vanilla and citrus zest. On the palate, the vodka is smooth and gently sweet, with distinct notes of cornbread and poppy seed running through the sip. It finishes warm and dry, with a medium-length aftertaste and just a whisper of pepper trailing at the very end.
