Angel's Envy BIB Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

Angel's Envy Bottled in Bond Cask Strength Bourbon comes from the Louisville Distilling Company, founded by father and son Lincoln and Wes Henderson. Lincoln, a veteran master distiller, guided the brand until his passing in 2013, and Bacardi Limited acquired the company in 2015. The distillery itself opened in downtown Louisville in 2016, and current master distiller Owen Martin oversaw this release, the brand's first Distillery Series expression.

Distilled in the spring of 2018, the bourbon spent nearly six years maturing in barrels filled at a low 103 proof rather than the industry standard. As the whiskey aged, most barrels settled below 100 proof, so the distillery blended two higher-proof barrels from the same season into the batch, landing naturally at exactly 100 proof. This satisfies Bottled in Bond requirements while also allowing the bourbon to be bottled at true cask strength, with no water added at any point and no secondary finishing barrel involved.

The nose offers lightly caramelized sugar, vanilla wafer, and a touch of banana pudding. On the palate, honey and toasted oak meet brown sugar, cinnamon, and light peppery spice for a sweet, balanced profile. The finish is soft and rounded, fading gently with lingering warmth.
