Baker's 7-Year Single Barrel Bourbon delivers an uncut, unfiltered expression matured exactly seven years in freshly charred American oak. Each 750 ml bottle draws from an individually selected cask, clearly marked with a unique bottler number on the front label so repeat customers can reliably repurchase their preferred cask profile.

Unlike blended bourbons routinely diluted to standard proofs or mechanically chilled before packaging, this Kentucky distillate skips post-distillation water addition entirely. The production method preserves heavier lipophilic compounds and native oak tannins that standard filtration strips away. The result is a high-viscosity spirit carrying distinct layers of roasted malt, brown sugar, clove, and dried fig, closing out with a long, tannic warmth that reflects the distillery’s established house style.

Structural density allows this whiskey to perform equally well poured neat or stirred into classic mixed drinks. The natural thickness resists rapid dilution in an Old Fashioned or Manhattan, keeping the drink balanced despite melting ice. Preserve the sealed container stored upright within a temperature-stable, low-light environment. After opening, decant remaining portions into airtight glass vessels kept at steady ambient conditions to slow oxidation and maintain the documented barrel specifications through extended service.

"In the portfolio of Small Batch Bourbon Collection whiskeys that American Whiskey giant Beam Suntory has in its stable one that has quietly been making drinkers happy for many a year is Baker's Bourbon. So named for Baker Beam, grand-nephew of Jim Beam and now retired 6th generation Beam family distiller, this seven year old bourbon has always been known as a consistent good pour at 107 proof. It was first hinted at earlier this year that Baker's might be going in a bit of a different direction going forward, and now word has officially come down of what those plans are.The new Baker's Single Barrel Bourbon, according to those behind it, will retain both the signature proof and minimum seven year age statement, but what's new is a solid updated bottle design and, more importantly, that this Whiskey is transitioning to a single barrel bourbon, exclusively.Baker's 7 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
