Bertani has shaped Veneto winemaking for more than 150 years, a legacy so closely bound to Amarone that the two names are often spoken in the same breath. Founded in the nineteenth century and honored with royal accreditation over the decades, the estate has built its reputation on pairing deep-rooted tradition with a willingness to adopt progressive techniques where they serve the wine. That balance of old and new carries through the full range, from the flagship Amarone down to its historic Soave holdings on the hillsides above the town itself.

Sereole is a single-vineyard Soave Classico made from 100 percent Garganega, sourced from the Sereole vineyard situated between the villages of Soave and Monteforte d'Alpone, within the heart of the classic zone. The vines here benefit from favorable hillside exposure typical of the area's best sites. Rather than the neutral steel common to much everyday Soave, this wine is aged in French oak vats for four to five months, a choice that adds a layer of texture and complexity while still allowing the grape's natural character to come through.

In the glass, Sereole shows an intense straw-yellow color with a nose of rich citrus and white flowers. The palate is caressing and complex, with a light mineral edge that lingers on the finish. Its texture and structure suit richer dishes, from pan-seared scallops to roasted pork loin or aged Asiago.

92 Points
"An intense, polished white full of white pepper, minerals, apples and apricots. Light- to medium-bodied, it displays zesty acidity over a silky, elegant texture and a long, savory aftertaste of citrus zest. Drink or hold."
—Aldo Fiordelli-James Suckling
