Domaine Overnoy-Crinquand is a three-generation family operation based in the village of Pupillin, at the heart of the Arbois appellation, where Mickaël Crinquand now tends the vines. The family has long run a poly-cultural farm, raising around seventy cows for Comté cheese production alongside grains and cereals, in addition to the 5.5 hectares given over to grapevines, all managed organically since the domaine's founding decades ago. The vineyards sit entirely within Pupillin on the steep clay-limestone slopes known as La Bidode.

This bottling comes from a one-hectare parcel of old-vine Savagnin, one of the classic grapes of the Jura, hand-picked and gently pressed before fermenting spontaneously in neutral oak foudre inside the domaine's seventeenth-century cellar. Whites at the estate undergo whole-cluster fermentation, and the winemaking throughout stays deeply traditional, with minimal sulfur and no shortcuts, letting the mineral character of the terroir come through clearly.

The wine shows bright citrus fruit and white flowers on the nose, layered with slivered almond, beeswax, and walnut for added complexity. The palate is precise and mineral-driven, more restrained and subtle than many wines from the region. It pairs beautifully with Comté, poultry, or delicate fish dishes.
