"Here the equally ripe and fresh nose is derived more from the red side of the fruit spectrum with ample spice, floral and discreet but not invisible wood influence. There is both fine punch and mid-palate density to the larger-bodied flavors that display impressive power on the very firm finale that also exhibits a touch of warmth. This is very clearly built-to-age and a wine that is borderline old school in style. Note that once again this offers excellent development potential and, unlike most of the prior wines in the range, is unlikely to make for especially interesting early drinking."
