The entry point into one of Bierzo's most compelling family estates — and an absolute QPR win. Sourced from high-altitude, organically farmed vineyards on the mountainous upper reaches of the appellation, where cooler temperatures and slate-rich soils coax out Mencía's most expressive side. Each plot ferments separately in 10,000-liter tanks before the final blend is assembled and aged 10–12 months in second- and third-use French oak. The result is a vibrant, spicy Mencía brimming with cherry, blueberry, and floral aromas, with polished tannins, lively acidity, and a long, bright mineral finish.
