2022 Chateau Martinat - Cotes de Bourg (750ml)

A right-bank gem from Stéphane and Lucie Donze, who revived this once-abandoned 11-hectare property in Lansac back in 1994. Hand-harvested and HVE-certified, the 2022 is 80% Merlot and 20% Malbec, fermented in temperature-controlled concrete and aged 14 months in oak. Deep purple color, with an expressive nose of red and black fruit, cassis and morello cherry; ripe, silky tannins on the palate with subtle, well-integrated oak notes.
