2023 Domaine de Montille - Bourgogne Rouge (750ml) [PRE ARRIVAL]

The entry point into one of Burgundy's most storied domaines, biodynamically farmed since 2005. Sourced from a one-hectare plot in Volnay ("Les Longbois") and from vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet. The 2023 shows a pleasant raspberry- and strawberry-scented nose — simple but effective — with a medium-bodied palate of sapid red fruit, fine tannins, and a brisk, slightly tapered finish. About 33% whole cluster gives a good liveliness; rich and quite intense for the level, and very drinkable. No new oak
