Pommard's unofficial Grand Cru, from 55-year-old vines on iron-rich red soils. Made with 66% whole cluster and aged in 33% new oak, the wine offers a perfumed bouquet of considerable complexity that blossoms in the glass. Medium-bodied, taut, and fresh on the palate with fine tannins; crushed stone infuses the red fruit through a sustained, precise finish. Biodynamically farmed, the iron-oxide-rich "Rugiens" terroir imparts the wine's characteristic earthy, structural character. Drink 2028–2040+
