From 50-year-old vines on the north-facing slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail, La Roubine's Gigondas is a blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, and 15% Syrah — a refined and powerful red with deep, savory notes playing beautifully off a dense core of ripe red and black fruits. Deep, supple tannins and a silky texture strike a balance that rewards cellaring, yet always retain a vibrant freshness and fruit-forward character. Raised without fining or filtration, the wine is aged 50% in concrete tanks and 50% in large French oak demi-muids for 14 months, preserving the full expression of its clay-limestone terroir. A stunning match for roasted lamb, game birds, or aged cheeses.

92+ Points
"Another outstanding wine, the 2023 Gigondas from Domaine la Roubine unfurls with a delicate, perfumed bouquet of dark berries, flowers and pepper mingled with garrigue. Medium- to full-bodied, sappy and enveloping, it’s layered and textural, built around a nicely structured tannic frame and concluding with a long, ethereal finish. This is a blend of 70% Grenache Noir, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 3% Cinsault and 2% Counoise."
