The entry-level red from Laurence Féraud's estate situated less than 4 miles from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, farmed at the absurdly low yields of the great appellation. Named for the Osage orange trees on the property. Harvested by hand from 35–60 year old vines in stony clay soils; whole-cluster fermented with native yeasts in enamel tanks, unoaked. Spicy red and black fruits, peppery garrigue, leather, and herbes de Provence lead to a medium-bodied, supple, savory palate loaded with character. Exceptional QPR — this drinks well above its price
