2024 Bagnol - Cassis BLANC (750ml)

One of only a handful of estates making wine within the town of Cassis itself, Domaine du Bagnol has vines planted right into the limestone terraces above the Mediterranean, with the sea visible from the rows. The Genovesi family has farmed organically since 2010 (certified 2014), and this cuvée blends Marsanne, Clairette, and Ugni Blanc, hand-harvested and cold-macerated before fermenting in cement and stainless steel. The result is bright and mineral-driven — white flowers, yellow fruit, citrus zest, and a whisper of fresh pineapple on the nose, with a crisp, saline finish marked by pleasant bitterness. A classic match for the local specialty: sea urchin, bouillabaisse, grilled fish, or anything else pulled straight from that stretch of coast.
