2024 Clos St. Magdeleine Cassis Blanc Bel-Arme (750ml)
Rated the best available Cassis wine by critics, and one of the most singular whites in all of Provence. Bel-Arme refers to a steep parcel dominated by fifty-year-old Marsanne vines clinging to solid limestone terraces, fermented and aged in concrete egg for a characteristically fleshy, textured result. Clos Sainte-Magdeleine's unique position on a private cape above the azure Mediterranean gives the wine an unmistakable maritime influence — characteristically salty, mineral-rich, and fresh, with a plush palate that is still refreshing due to a noticeable saltiness at the finish. White flowers, lemon, and smoky, iodized notes build into a complex, structured palate — designed for the cellar, with full potential emerging after six or seven years. One of the most terroir-specific whites you'll find anywhere. Drink 2026–2032
